CAREER

Like the pistons that power an engine, four forces must align: passion, strength, demand, and recognition.  True fulfillment comes not from chasing any one of them alone, but from combining what you love with what you're good at to serve others.

AI and the  Future of Care

Developed as part of advanced studies in AI at the SSBM, this work explores the evolution of healthcare into a continuous, data-driven system shaped by AI. As predictive technologies redefine prevention, they also introduce new forms of behavioral influence and inequality.

The focus is not just on what AI can do, but on how it should be governed to ensure fairness, proportionality, and human-centered outcomes.

Alignment Brings Execution

The Shinkansen (bullet train in Japan) covers hundreds of miles in hours yet arrives within seconds of schedule. They achieved near-perfect reliability and zero passenger fatalities over decades.

That’s the balance leaders need:
·      Agility to adapt, pivot, and seize opportunities.
·      Reliability to inspire trust, deliver consistently, and provide stability.

Speed without precision is chaos. Precision without speed is stagnation.  Leadership is the art of combining both. People don’t just remember how fast you went, but how safe they felt along the way. Systems that combine velocity and safety earn lasting trust.

What “rails” do you set in your leadership so your team can move fast and feel secure?

End to end health

What Blue Zones Teach Modern Healthcare

Blue Zones are regions of the world where people live longer, healthier lives not because of advanced technology, but because of how they live. These communities reveal a different model of well-being, shaped by daily movement, strong social connections, purpose, and environment. They challenge the assumption that better outcomes come from more intervention, offering instead a system where health emerges naturally from lifestyle and community. Explore how these principles can inform a more balanced, human-centered approach to performance and longevity.
