Optimal Performance Starts with a healthy body, mind and spirit.
One of the most impactful training I had in my career was with the Human Performance Institute (HPI) with Johnson & Johnson. One of my strengths is systematic thinking, that is, the ability to look and opportunities, challenges, and reality holistically, end-to-end. After taking the HPI courses, this strength tool grew to another level. I learned my life holistically, and helping others also took another level.
When talking about a career, we cannot talk about it intellectually. Our physical health and emotional and spiritual health are paramount to be integrated with our purpose.
This performance is similar to the 4 pistons we discussed earlier. The pistons represent well-being in these areas:
-
Physical
-
Mental
-
Emotional and
-
Spiritual
